The pelvic floor is a group of muscles that supports the bladder, bowel, and other pelvic organs. These muscles also help control urination and bowel movements. Pregnancy, childbirth, aging, and other factors can weaken the pelvic floor and may contribute to urinary leakage or a feeling of reduced support.

BTL EMSELLA® uses high-intensity electromagnetic energy to stimulate the pelvic floor muscles, producing thousands of strong contractions during a single session. It is FDA-cleared for the treatment of urinary incontinence and is intended to help rehabilitate weak pelvic floor muscles and restore neuromuscular control.
What Can I Expect During Treatment?
A typical session lasts about 30 minutes. A treatment plan often includes six sessions scheduled twice a week, though your provider will recommend a plan based on your needs. You may feel tingling and pelvic floor muscle contractions during treatment. You can return to your daily activities afterward. Results and the timing of improvement vary from person to person.
