EMSCULPT NEO® combines HIFEM® technology with synchronized radiofrequency (RF) energy in a single noninvasive treatment. It is indicated to strengthen and tone muscles and to reduce fat noninvasively in specific treatment areas. Sessions typically last about 30 minutes, and patients can generally return to daily activities afterward.
Under medical supervision, EMSCULPT NEO® may also be used as adjunctive therapy for certain medical conditions. Its indications include muscle re-education, prevention or slowing of disuse atrophy, relaxation of muscle spasms, increased local blood circulation, and maintaining or increasing range of motion. It may also be used for immediate postsurgical stimulation of the calf muscles to help prevent venous thrombosis. For patients 18 and older, it may be used to stimulate peripheral nerves for chronic intractable, post-traumatic, or postsurgical pain, and chronic painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy in the lower extremities.
